The vineyard is located in the Appellation of Margaret River, in the sub-appellation of Treeton.
The Vineyard is split into two blocks, the bottom block and the top block. The bottom block was planted in 1996 to Cabernet (1.6Ha) Chardonnay (1.5Ha) Shiraz (2ha) and Sauvignon Blanc (2ha).
The top block was planted two years letter to Merlot, Shiraz and Chardonnay. The Alchemists took over in 2007 and grafted the block shiraz to Semillon, and some of the top block shiraz to Malbec.
All vines are planted east-west. The vineyard is managed using organic principles, ensuring the sheep maintain the weeds in winter, and the guinea fowls and chickens minimise the bugs all year round.
